Hello, New Year’s! This is where the new post goes, once we get the site ready to gobble more Polaroids. After five years (!), 926 posts (!!), and 6,226 comments (WHAT), the ol’ girl creaks a bit in the mornings.
I am only writing this because of a foolhardy resolution that requires me to post daily or at least semi-often, which will be abandoned in all likelihood by May. I am also determined to read a book a week (hey, if the still-president can fake do it, so can I!) and in general “better myself.”
