Any verdict on the Impossible Project films?
Compton, I’m using “First Flush” right now—and IPX admits that it’s pretty dodgy if you don’t protect it from lots of light as it’s coming out of the camera (unlike old Polaroid film which was stable at that moment, you can keep exposing First Flush). Because this is Mississippi, there’s just WAY too much light in the summer to figure that out. This photo and the “When I See the Glory” were both taken in total darkness, and even then they’re a little blown out.
The later Silver Shade is supposed to be a lot more stable. You may also notice that these aren’t silver, they’re sepia—it’s apparently a temperature and humidity kick as well.
