This is the portrait Lula was sitting for when she spotted a French-fry; hence the smirk! I wanted her to pose behind the wonderful forms of those McCarty wind chimes (“Delta Bells”) because I thought it would look pretty with her dress; it’s almost like she’s wearing Delta camouflage!
She was heading to a shower and was good enough to let me and a bunch of knuckleheads watch football while she was gone.
Polaroid 420/669 color film. KIDS—don’t be like me, make sure you get a firm pull on the negative (notice the distress at the top of the photo), but I was starting my conversation with Frylock and was, understandably, preoccupied.

Pretty Lula!
WOW, this is a HOT photo!!
You are too sweet to me!
Yes.
Your distress is quite understandable. Quite fortunate to be distressed in just that manner.
Lord Lord Lord. You shoulden be posting photos like this. You like to kilt an old man.
The way the pattern and the chimes work together make me think of Mann’s “At Charlies Farm” (http://www.tfaoi.com/am/9am/9am365.jpg) . . . but I think the expression is what makes this such a wonderful photo; the emotion on her face conflicts with the pose and space she is in . . . very nice. More 669!
