Well friends, I had hoped to say something insightful and/or witty about the finally released American Flagg! deluxe edition today—it would probably have been something along the lines of how I paid $3 for these comics that you can now get reprinted in hardcover for $50—but events on the ground, as they say, have dictated a change in policy. After a summer of near constant hand-wringing and swiffer-mopping, we’ve finally got a buyer for our house. We’ll be sad to see the Apricot Bomb Shelter go, but we couldn’t pass up the house that came available near here, on a couple of acres and with a barn all ready for the horse.
What this means in the short term is that we have only a week to get packed and vacate this place. So posting from me will be light for the next little while. Do continue to stop by, and I’ll be posting something on a more or less regular basis, but probably not the longish reviews I’ve been doing all summer. And there will of course be plenty of gorjus to go around.

In the meantime, you could always read this interview with Teri Garr.
Congratulations on the house! That’s lovely news.
Congratulations!
Plus, what are you quoting? Whose goat?
Oh, no real goats, at least not yet; that’s a line from “Let’s Move to the Country.”
