Monday night Lula got me and Chip and most of the Delicate Cycle dizzy on horrifyingly bad lemon drops at Martin’s. Actually, maybe they were good. I have no idea.
So I made her a mix that celebrates a lot of things she digs.
I really, really dig the seventies-soundtrack aesthetic of this Budos Band song. Listen to it and imagine you are driving your 1977 Nova—but the right tire is shot out, and there’s blooding seeping from your shoulder wound, and THEY DONE KILLED YR PARTNER, &tc., &tc.
