The TUFF LUVS (Jaxxon’s finest and the Last Punk Band in the World) got a roaring review in the latest issue of Razorcake. They called Party Dudes “Part Supersuckers . . . part Marked Men . . . that, while it may be all about partying, ultimately focuses on the rock.”
Last year, Razorcake said the “Heartburn” 7 inch was “Raw, mid-tempo, hooky . . . Would’ve sworn it was some punk obscurity from the late ‘70s Midwest . . . .” And Derek Lynn Plastic called the Tuff Luvs’ show at the 2006 Florida’s Dying Chili Cookoff with the Black Lips one of his “Top 10 Things” of 2006.
Good to see a local band getting some awesome national attention. I’ve been chomping at the bit to get some photos of these guys in axxion and maybe will get to soon.
