The “pinhole” of the title doesn’t refer to the camera, but rather the deco shade that I’ve attempted to capture. The black oval below is a little phone niche. Here I was using a P420 camera with 669 film that expired in 2001.

Wow. I mean, wow. Was the chiaroscuro effect intentional, or just a happy accident with that camera/film combo? PS Are any of the Sandusky Reviews still up for grabs?
Dotty, as with most of my work, I had the desire to capture a certain feeling—in this case, the pinhole light and the strong shadows—and the Polaroid took it where it wanted. I’m often very enchanted with those heavy shadows.
And yes, there are several Sandusky Reviews still out there! Feel free to send me your address at gorjus.prettyfakes @ gmail.com. The next shipment goes out soon!
I love it! Even the positive space is negative space.
