You might be a Democrat, or a Republican, and even some of my best friends voted Green once or twice, and whether you’re going Clinton or Romney or Dodd or Weebo, you know the situation in Iraq is broken. With the passage of the bill through the House and Senate, it’s now up to the President whether we will continue to squander American lives and resources. He can defy the will of the American people or acknowledge his own failures.
I read three books this weekend; two were spectacular and one gathered more eye-rolls than Ann Coulter at YearlyKos. Plus!! IS BAMA BACK, &tc.

Maybe this ain’t poetry in the way most people think of it. But back in 1952 Judge Sweat encapsulated the wonders and confusion of Mississippi in one speech about prohibition. That is enough for me.
