Ah, Canton. I feel kind of dumb: I lived near Canton my whole life and never knew it billed itself as “City of Lights.” Is that new, or is it just that I always got out before sundown?
I don’t know how new it is—I don’t know much about Canton, either, even though it’s just a few minutes north of here. They’ve run white Xmas lights through the whole of the square (as I tried to show), including the road heading into town. If anything, it sort of adds a haunted shadowed look to the town.
Gee, it’s like the view from the top of the Arche d’Triomphe.
