Mister Rufus Wainwright (for
Ms. Comrade).
The title of this post is the first lines from the Rufus song “April Fools.”

Mister Edwyn Collins, back in the Orange Juice years (for
Big Gray).
Song on his face by Elliott Smith.
Symbol-heavy cross-post today at thee Glam Menagerie.

I love the tiny bird falling out of Rufus’s hair.
Good stuff! Rufus’ sideburns are particularly convincing. For some reason the arrow pointing from Saturn makes me happy.
rockin’! i’m going home at lunch to dig out my old wainwright… haven’t heard “april fools” in too long…
April Foos…i really like that song a bunch
as for Edwin Collins…that song “i never met a girl like you before”, i’m convinced he got bowie to sing it. jesus, BOWIE doesn’t sound that much like bowie.
thank you. xoxo
great drawings . . . i love the line quality . . .
Orange Juice…my latest greatest love. Glasgow School and You Can’t Hide both were given to me at a Halloween Party, blew my mind, even more than Jody Nelson’s costume as Brian Jones, complete with inner tube and floatie wings….
I’ve just taped your Edwyn Collin’s picture up in my workspace, right next to a picture from the Ralph “Soul” Jackson shoot by Ryan Russell.
