Hi everybody! It’s me, Professor Fury. You may also know me as the Popular Frontiersman, Dr. Hercules Rockefeller, or, if you’re a member of my immediate family who resents me, Bubba. Anyways, I’ve been running Popular Frontiers, but Gorj invited me to bring my dog-and-pony-and-syphilitic-monkey act over here, and I’m taking him up on the offer. I’ll be posting about comic books, music (like the Mountain Goats post below, though generally less long-winded and pretentious), higher education, and things Southern.
I confess to having a soft spot for Rob and Amber, too. I mean, they seem to actually like each other. That goes a long way on reality TV. I’m pulling for Uchenna and Joyce for the same reason. So “all” the people I’m pulling for haven’t gotten kicked off, after all, I guess.
I guess I was most sad to see Susan and Patrick lose—I didn’t have any hope they’d win, but hated that Ray and Deana stayed around longer, though I see from the Race website that they got eliminiated in the last episode—I forgot to watch.
Prof. I’m serious. It was TWO HOURS LONG. Meredith & Gretchen? Bloody and in last place—but not Philiminated!—are stripped of all belongings. And the Bros.? Bloody car-wreck, and beat Ray & Deana IN A FOOTRACE to win!!

I liked the bros last minute attempt to persuade phil to keep em on by wearing the swim trunks. They were the best. And Rob and Amber suk it.
