I got into a huge discussion about the elections with my probationers. I shocked one guy when I responded to his questions about me being a Bush fan—-” Just because I’m white, doesn’t mean that I’m Bush fan.”

So, out of the 82 active cases that I have, minus the rednecks, the idiots, and the invalid, I have at least 60 percent going to the polls tomorrow to vote for Kerry. I told them I would drive if they couldn’t find a way.

I agree with my big brother, it’s time for a change and a move in the right direction. A time when we can heal our nation and give purpose back to our soldiers, and perhaps answers to their families. This is the time we are to embark on a new mission, together as a nation working for our tomorrows.

Vote it up Gorjus babies, vote it up.

Do Republican organizations provide rides to the polls? Our county Dems organization is very vocal about giving rides to anyone who needs one, but I don’t think I’ve ever heard of the GOP doing so (no surprise, certainly).

KoE, don’t jump to conclusions. I did hear that the GOP is offering free kicks in the shins to people standing in line at the polls, especially to those who are wearing Kerry/Edwards pins or who happen to be African-American.

Y’all, I made fun of jp! for shamelessly plugging his site a few weeks ago, but he’s compiled a mighty list of the trickery and lies that the GOP is using to confuse and mislead the voting public. It’s shameful. More than that, it makes me want to vomit:

this last comment perplexes me. it has NEVER even crossed my mind to go to some blog somewhere on the net populated by folks with political philosophies different than mine and post “trolling”-style comments. what is it about this person/people in huntsville, AL who like to come over here and leave comments intended to start flame wars? surely they’re not under the impression that such an approach will change minds…?

i tend to plug my blog when i feel like i’ve already said what i wanted to say and don’t wanna re-type it again!

some of you know this…but my job a year ago was to fight voter suppression and scare tactics. i get pretty angry about that stuff. i have put together a collection of what these people are doing out there.
