Batman Returns is okay. The rest are crap. I think Christian Bale is pretty tough-looking, but that new chunky Batmobile looks like CRAP.

No, I got the point…I just wanted to talk about Batman movies. I talked to my dad for 30 minutes on Father’s Day, out in front of the studio.

christian bale… is he that guy from American Psycho and Laurel Canyon? the way he talks makes me want to punch someone in the face. i’ll be avoiding this movie like the plague.
the director of the soon-to-be-new batman is the feller who did Memento and the US remake of Insomnia. i’m indifferent to bale (indeed, the am.psycho guy), but c.nolan isn’t bad a’tall. or hasn’t been yet.
Yeah, Nolan is a good choice. I still wish that the Darren Aronofsky/Frank Miller Year One version had gotten off the ground. I thought that American Psycho was hilarious, mainly because of Bale, and he was great, as a kid, in Empire of the Sun (though that, of course, doesn’t mean anything…see Anna Paquin!).
Anyway, great cartoon, Gorjus. Two or three years ago I painted a picture for my dad. It didn’t look nearly as good as this does. I’m a worthless son….sob!
