that’s spot on. i really do look like a bulldog, and my students really do put pencils down each others’ buttcracks.

All I can remember about “foot”ball is from Fever Pitch—which I remember you turning me on to, Gene. That’s why on the rare occasions anyone has ever asked me what team I pull for, I’ve said Arsenal.
I actually had Larry Ferrari doing team color research for me so you could have on a scarf, but that was just taking it too far.
It was amazing how quickly you went from a normal guy in the cartoon into a bulldog. I think it was also the grappa I drank with jp!’s in-laws.

I had a message from gorjus on Sunday night asking what gclark looks like because he couldn’t remember…I guess he gave up and made him a bulldog. With a shaved head.
What?? That’s a total lie! You know I know what he LOOKS like, I meant “what does he ‘look’ like?” As in, hedgehog, ghettoblaster, bulldog. I settled on the latter.
I thought it was a Koala, too.
Ok, well, the message said, “What does gclark look like? Are his eyes far apart? Does he have a smushed nose? Are his ears prominent? Is he jowly?”
all you really needed was to trace a pic of brad pitt and you’d’ve been close.
Well, what I was trying to get you to say was, “yes, he looks like a bulldog.”

gclark in real life is way cuter than a bulldog. But this particular cartoon bulldog is pretty adorable, so I’d say you got it close.
