    So, you’ve listened to the new Wheat album? Thoughts? I passed up their show in town last weekend to see SFA. I feel a little bit guilty, but not really.

    I think that the new Wheat album SUCKS production-wise. It was SOOOOO much better before it got major-labeled. I can’t even listen to it. I’ll try to dig up the pre-suck version for you, if I can find it. Seriously, I hate it.

    Drunker when I draw. BG, you bring up something I’m battling with myself—it’s SOOOO clean and . . . mainstreamy!! But I don’t think in a bad way. Yet I adore “Can’t Wash it Off” (which even they used to call “Do You Really Want Me”) in its “naked” form, but I’m not so sure about it all cleaned up.

    It’s still better then anything I’ve heard in a while. Gene, you need it!! Okay, I’m listening to the other pre-Spectorized versions from their website. Much, much better.

    better than anything you’ve heard in awhile?! ok. if that’s the case, I’ll give you some suggestions of new music to listen. I think John Mayer must’ve given Wheat advice on the new album ‘cause it’s boring with a capital “B.”

    It’s really kind of silly just how much I enjoy your cartoons, gorj. I know need to come up with more creative comments for all this artwork, but I don’t know what else to say except GODDAMN! They’re just fucking incredible. Everybody keeps saying “that’s your best one yet” about successive cartoons—and they’re right! They just keep getting better. Rock on, sir.
