that drawing of jp! with his tie and martini is killing me. it’s my usual mental picture, though the tie is loosened or off.

while this is completely accurate, i have to point out i was drinking Bourbon yesterday.
I was telling jp! that I was drunk as hell when I drew this. Notice the excellent panel borders on the right side. The spelling was supposed to be kind of e-maily, but I don’t know if that came across.
I was convinced when I drew this last nite that it was a masterpiece. Obviously, I was wrong.
I think the juxtaposition of the detailed left-hand panels with the sparse right-hand panels makes this hilarious.
Thanks for clearing that up; I’d hate to have the wrong mental picture of your beverage of choice last evening. Bitching about committee appointments definitely calls for Bourbon.
I very much enjoy that you both showed bourbon the respect it apparently deserves by capitalizing the B.
Indeed, have to go with the upper case B – all else, including french royal families get the lower case.
haw haw haw! anyone that reads my writing knows i hate caps, of course, my handwriting is oddly almost all caps. like i’m dying to put more in.
note: later in the day after i quit complaining, i did have some Gin. it was blue and tasty
